Well well now,
It took us a while to get back to raising money and awareness for kidney care at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
It’s hard to believe it was 25 years ago this month that David received his kidney from his father, Ken, under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospital. The care they continue to receive from the Nephrology, Urology, Dialsysis and Post- Transplant teams, are credited with being a large part of their success.
Like the rest of the world, Covid-19 brought on challenges in creating live events, but we are happy to share that our first GSKT since the pandemic has raised $8250 in support of kidney care at St. Joseph’s.
There are rumours of 2023 already, so stay tuned.
Guitar Strings and Kidney Things has successfully raised over $48,000 for kidney disease awareness and support since 2017…and we are not done yet!
